Overview of default objects in navigation bar (configurable)
Home:
Upon logging in, you'll land on the Home page, your starting point for accessing key features and recent activities. This can be configured to include a dashboard, manage your approvals, display your recently access records, view your upcoming tasks, and more. From here, you can quickly navigate to different sections of Equinox Corporate+.
Patents:
Navigate to the Patents object to view and manage your patent assets. Here, you can add new patents, edit existing records, and track important details such as filing dates, statuses, and associated documents.
Trademarks:
Access the Trademarks object to manage your trademark assets. Add new trademarks, track registration details, and maintain records of trademark-related activities.
Family:
The Family object allows you to organize and link related intellectual property assets together. Create, edit, and manage patent families or trademark families for a comprehensive view of your IP portfolio. All cases within Equinox will require a family record to help keep your data organized.
Dashboards
Access dashboards to gain insights into your IP portfolio's performance and trends. Dashboards can be private or shared amongst different users within your organization. These dashboards are constructed via reports to help streamline data sharing and visualization.
Reports: Customize reports to analyze specific data points and track key metrics over time. Reports can be shared or individual. Reports can also be automated to help you get recurring insights on your portfolio from upcoming tasks to newly created IP.
Tasks:
Stay organized by managing tasks related to intellectual property management. Create tasks, assign them to team members, and track their progress to ensure timely completion of important actions.
Designs:
The Designs object enables you to manage design patents efficiently. Add new designs, track design registrations, and maintain detailed records of design-related activities.
Accounts and Contacts:
Manage your vendors, law firms, users, and relevant contacts within the Accounts and Contacts objects. Keep track of client interactions, correspondence, and important contacts related to your IP management activities.
Docketing Rules:
Configure and manage docketing rules to automate and streamline your IP management processes. Define rules for deadline reminders, renewals, and other critical actions to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Invoices:
Track invoices related to your intellectual property assets. Monitor payment statuses and manage billing information to stay on top of financial transactions.
Renewals:
Manage renewals for your intellectual property assets. Stay informed about upcoming renewal deadlines and take necessary actions to maintain the validity of your patents and trademarks.
Invention Disclosures:
Track and manage invention disclosures within the system. Capture details about new inventions, assign tasks, and track the progress of disclosure reviews.
General Matters:
Handle general legal matters and issues related to intellectual property management. Keep records of legal correspondence, contracts, and other relevant documents.
Third Parties:
Track third party cases such as competitive patent or trademarks of interest. Relate these to your inventions to keep tabs.
References:
Store relevant references and citations for Information Disclosure Statements (IDS) and other purposes. Maintain a repository of literature, prior art, and other resources to support your IP management processes.
