Equinox Corporate+ allows users to make bulk edits to data directly from list views, helping you save time and ensure consistency across records. This feature is especially useful for updating common fields across multiple records—such as status, owner, or custom text fields.

 Prerequisites

Before you can perform a bulk edit, make sure the following are true:

  1. Field Availability:
    The field you wish to edit must be included in the page layout and made available by your system administrator.
  2. Correct Record Type:
     The bulk edit feature works only when records are filtered to a specific record type (e.g., Patent, Trademark). For example, to bulk edit patent data, make sure your list is filtered to show only Patent records.

Step-by-Step: How to Bulk Edit Records

1. Navigate to the List View

Go to the module (e.g., Patents, Trademarks) where you'd like to make bulk changes. Choose a list view that shows the records you want to edit.

2. Select Records to Edit

Click the checkboxes on the left-hand side to select individual records. You can select up to 200 records at a time for bulk editing.

3. Click the field you wish to edit

Once you've selected the records, click the pencil icon next to the field you wish to edit. This will open a bulk edit panel.

5. Apply Changes

Click Apply to update all selected records at once. You’ll see a confirmation message once the bulk update is complete.
