Step 1 - find the record you want to update
It may already be in the recently accessed items list view on the relevant tab
Or search for the case with the case reference, application number or any bibliographic data using the global search box in the top middle of the screen.
Search will find all records matching the search term(s) entered
Open the required record – in this example a patent record by clicking on the reference
Click Edit or one of the pencil icons beside the fields you have permission to edit in this record
You can then edit fields or add information as required
When done click Save at the bottom of the screen.
